(SFC) Tickets have gone on sale worldwide for the PyeongChang Short Track Test Event and Figure Skating Test Event. They can be found on the PyeongChang Test Event website ( and Interpark website (

"Organizing the 2016/2017 test events is an opportunity for the entire staff to rehearse while promoting actual the Games. As practice makes perfect, we look forward to hosting the test events as well as the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018," expressed the PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games Secretary General, Yeo Hyung-koo.

Prices range from 4.55 USD (5,000 KRW/4.05 EUR) to 45.48 USD (50,000 KRW/40.54 EUR) with the lowest being short track preliminaries and the most expensive being figure skating finals.

Those eligible for a 50% discount on tickets include individuals of national merit, independence patriots, Gangwon Province residents, senior citizens aged 65 or older, youths aged 18 or younger, and impaired men and women. Also, groups can book reservations through Hanjin Travel at or they can call +82 (0)2 726 5680.

In addition, free tickets are available on the PyeongChang Test Event website and Interpark website for Nordic combined, wheelchair curling, skeleton, speed skating, and Big air (snowboard) test events.

The ISU World Cup Short Track 2016 (speed skating test event) will be held in Gangneung, Republic of Korea from December 17-18, 2016. While the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships 2017 will take place from February 14-19, 2017.
