(SFC) The PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (POCOG) has launched their official "Online Membership Program" on their website. This two-way communication channel between POCOG and the public will enhance the Olympic experience for both local and foreign spectators.

"All eyes will be on PyeongChang 2018 after Rio 2016. Therefore, we will develop a unique information system to provide information based on the needs of potential spectators and put our efforts to create an exciting atmosphere for the success of the Games," expressed POCOG Director General of Marketing, Eom Chanwang.

Anyone who is interested in the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics is able to create their own "Online Membership Program" account. With the concept of 'Passion Connected Begins on August 18," the new program will provide members with the latest PyeongChang 2018 information. They will receive news about torch relay events, competition schedules, ticketing, and other various things. Moreover, account holders will have the opportunity to be offered official invitations to POCOG hosted events.

In addition, members will have the chance to personalize their account by selecting their own field of interest and any collection of personal information will be kept to a minimum.

Those interested or wanting to learn more can visit POCOG's official website at www.pyeongchang2018.com.
