(SFC) The PyeongChang 2018 Olympics organizers (POCOG) launched their official hospitality house today for the Rio 2016 Games to be staged on iconic Copacabana Beach.

Visitors will be able to virtually try ski jumping through 4DVR (Four Dimensional Virtual Reality), taste Korean cuisine and enjoy K-pop, taekwondo, Korean classical music and breakdancing. The house will open August 6th the day after the opening ceremony and remain open until August 21st then reopen for the Paralympics September 7th through the 18th at the close of those Games.

The venue will be a 50 by 8 meter long kiosk on the beach that will be an open space where visitors will be able to get a taste of the next Olympic winter Games and enjoy learning about them using the latest information and communications technologies.

"I greatly support the successful hosting of the Rio Games," said POCOG President, Hee-beom Lee, "I wish the best to all of the participants.

"Please also remember that the very next edition of the Olympic Games will be held in PyeongChang in 2018.

"I would like to invite everyone to the PyeongChang 2018 House in Rio, to feel the winter and the next Winter Games in advance, and taste the beauty of PyeongChang, Gangwon Province, and Korea."

POCOG has the collaboration of TOP sponsor CocaCola, and domestic sponsors Samsung, KT, The North Face, who will all work with Korean Government organizations, in order to display what PyeongChang has to offer and its culture through various programs like the automata exhibit and sand art.

The organizers have also come up with a clever idea to introduce the first Korean winter Olympic Games and they will launch a mobile PyeongChang House that will tour in South America exactly on the opposite side of the world. This mobile house will as well offer Games information, Korean culinary culture and Taekwondo and the routes will cover Sao Paulo, Iguassu Falls, Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and Santiago.

The PyeongChang 2018 hospitality house at the Sochi 2014 winter Games was extremely popular and many people ventured in to get information on medical tourism in South Korea.
