Olympics: Rome 2024 adds Ketchum to promote the Eternal City bid

(SFC) The Rome 2024 bid to host the summer Olympic and Paralympic Games announced today that they have hired Ketchum to promote their bid internationally and offer media support. The bid committee has signed a deal with Ketchum through the vote in September 2017.

Ketchum has over one hundred offices in 70 countries worldwide and is known for its substantial track record of sports and large-scale events communication and they have teamed up with DMTC for their expertise in Olympic sports. 

They will work with the Rome 20245 communications team to reach out to international media and to key leaders in the Olympic movement.

Rome is bidding against Budapest, Los Angeles and Paris to host the Games and the IOC will vote on their final city selection in Lima, Peru at the session to be held in September 2017.
