(SFC) Rocky Kang-Ro Yoon, President of International Sport Diplomacy Institute (ISDI) and Special Advisor to President of the PyeongChang Organizing Committee, has donated over 30,000 Olympic memorabilia items to Gangneung City. The coastal city will host the ice events for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in South Korea and the collection will remain as a legacy after the Games for people to enjoy.

Yoon collected his vast assortment of memorabilia during his 35 year international sports career and covers over 100 different kinds of items such as pins, commemorative medals, books, posters, torches, mascots, key chains, watches, ties and plaques to just name a few.

"The motive of my donation to Gangneung City is to contribute to the sustainably legacy of the 2018 PyeongChang Games," he explained.

Yoon is also the first Korean recipient of the ANOC Merit Award & Order and also has served as the Deputy Secretary General of the Korea Olympic Committee and as Secretary General of the 2010 & 2014 Bid Committees for PyeongChang.
