SPORTELAmerica 2015: The Sports TV market includes a jam packed conference program

(SFC) SPORTELAmerica is almost here, as it will take place in Miami, Florida during March 17-19, 2015. As the conference approaches, here is a look at what the program holds for the attendees.

To start things off on opening day, March 17, the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) will hold a press conference, titled "East Meets West." They will have a major new North America league announcement to reveal.

Then SPORTEL and TV Sports Markets will have an expert panel titled, "The North American Sports Rights Boom: is it sustainable?" The panel speakers will include: Thomas Schmidt, Team Marketing AG's Managing Director of Media Rights; Daniel Cohen, MP & Silva Americas, Senior Vice President; and Scott Moore, President of Sportsnet & NHL Properties. The moderator will be TV Sports Markets' Editor, Frank Dunne.

The conference continues the next day with a jammed packed schedule. It begins with SPORTEL & SVG Business & Technology Panel called, "Marketing & Monetizing Second Screen in the Americas." The panel will be have Sports Video Group's Managing Editor, Jason Dachman, as the moderator. The speakers will include: Perform Group's Senior Vice President, Bruno Rocha; Deltatre Commercial Director, Tomas Robertson; WWE International Senior Vice President and Marketing Director, Ed Wells; and IMG Media Latin America, Mexico & US Hispanic Vice President, Guillermo Santa Cruz.

Next is SPORTEL and TV Sports Markets Expert Panel II titled, "Sport and the Evolution of the Latin America TV Market." Frank Dunne will once again be the moderator. The experts for this panel will be: Francisco Pazmino, Fox Sports Latin America Senior Vice President of Programming & Acquisitions; Pedro Freire, TyC Sports Programming Chief; Felipe Aquilino, Esporte Interativo Director of Acquisition & Sale of Media Rights; and Felix Alvarez Garmon, IMG Media Latin America, Mexico & US Hispanic Senior Vice President.

Lastly, there will be a two part LA Liga Panel. The first part will be "Soccer challenged the Audiovisual transformation and the Global Digital Environment" and Javier Tebas, La Liga President will be the speaker. The second part will be titled, "La Liga, the Best Showcase for the Transformative Innovation." The speakers will include: Luis Vicente, Valencia CF Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer; Nacho M. Trujillo, La Liga Strategic Projects Director; and Ignacio Arrola, La Liga Executive Consultant.
