(SFC) International Olympic Committee (IOC) Member and World Olympians Association (WOA) Patron, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, is supporting the WOA's #TargetEbola campaign through a video appealing to all Olympians to support this cause. The campaign's objective is to raise funds to aid for the prevention of Ebola spreading in West Africa.

Dr. Francis Dove Edwin, a two-time Olympian from Sierra Leone, was selected to the Presidental task force to assist with stopping the spread of Ebola in the country. Dr. Edwin requested the WOA to raise funds, thus the launch of the #TargetEbola campaign.

The WOA decided to join forces with Oxfam, one of the top leaders in emergency response in the world. WOA has also enlisted the services of global innovator and leader of transforming healthcare systems in developing countries, US humanitarian NGO Medisend International.

In HSH Prince Albert II's video he stated, "Fellow Olympians, the Olympics made each and every one of us part of an international brotherhood. The people of West Africa need our help. Millions are suffering from the effects of Ebola and it is only going to get worse. We can help stop the spread of Ebola. Please support the Target Ebola campaign. Promote #TargetEbola and targetebola.org. Help save lives and stop the spread of Ebola."

The Olympian support for #TargetEbola continues to grow, with HSH Prince Albert II only being the lastest to join the campiagn. He joins Usain Bolt, six-time Olmpic Gold Medallist, and Olympic legends such as Carl Lewis, Sergey Bubka, Claudia Bokel, Pernilla Wiberg, Yang Yang, and Koji Murofushi who have already voiced their support.

"As Olympians we are in a privileged position to help others who are less fortunate than us. It is our responsibility to spread the values of Olympism and provide support for those who need it most. That is why I am encouraging my Olympian colleagues, my friends in the Olympic Family and those in the wider world of sport to help in any way they can by supporting the #TargetEbola campaign," said HSH Prince Albert II outside Grimaldi Palace in Monaco.

There still remains a strong 100,000 Olympian community all over the world, which WOA is appealing to, to get behind this cause by publicizing #TargetEbola, posting selfies through social media, promoting the donation link (www.targetebola.org/donate), and texting TARGET to 70066 (UK only).
