(SFC) Korean Air’s ninth A380 superjumbo jet is expanding the fleet at the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the USA. The plane first underwent security inspections at Incheon International Airport and was then "deployed" to Atlanta in early July.

Of the 407 seats available to passengers on the A380, 301 are economy seats featuring 33 to 34 inches of space between rolls, making for a more comfortable flight experience on South Korea’s No. 1 full-service air carrier.

Korean Air will receive one more A380 to bring its fleet total to 10. The others have been servicing Los Angeles, New York, and Paris since 2011.

The world class airline also is an official sponsor of the Incheon 2014 Asian Games taking place in the city of Seoul's main airport in a little over 60 days September 19-October 10th.

For the 10th consecutive year, Korean Air was ranked at the top of Global Customer Satisfaction Competency Index’s best passenger service ranking.
