(SFC) Korean Air Lines recently opened its 1,320-square meter lounge at Los Angeles International Airport’s Tom Bradley International Terminal, replacing the airline’s previous lounge, which was 68 percent smaller.

More than 300 travelers can sit comfortably in areas including four private rooms and shower booths, a balcony overlooking the international terminal, and a luggage storage area. A sizeable photograph of Seoul’s UNESCO-listed Changedeok Palace greets passengers entering the lounge.

Korean Air’s first and ‘Prestige’ class passengers and members of the other 20 SkyTeam member airlines can utilise the lounge. Korean Air currently flies double daily Airbus A380 flights to and from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.

South Korea will host the Incheon Asian Games in September of 2014 and the PyeongChang Winter Olympics in four years' time.
