(SFC) Newly elected International Olympic Committee (IOC)  President Thomas Bach is set to visit the Sportel Monaco exhibition taking place this week in Monte Carlo to participate at the Golden Podium Ceremony alongside HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, IOC Member and Honorary President of SPORTEL.

Sportel is under the patronage and support of the IOC as the foremost sports content market in the world. Now branching out with regional editions in South America and the fastest growing sports content area Asia.

The prestigious Golden Podium Awards commemorate the top producers of the best sports sequences of the year. Bach will be presenting the IOC Grand Prize which rewards the best sport image that convey the Olympic values.

Bach may also be interested to get more information on the numerous companies who are here promoting their products since one of his campaign points was to develop an Olympic channel.

Sportel has grown into far more than just a TV market as its original business model stated, and is now emerging as the place to be for sports content management on just about everything aside from the television.

This is certainly the place to get more information and meet the top companies involved with high level sports content management technology.
