February 8 – Tickets for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games went on sale on Thursday, 8 February, exactly one year before the start of the Games. Customers residing in the Russian Federation can purchase tickets exclusively on the official website of the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games – www.sochi2014.com. The Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee is the only ticket retailer within Russia for the Games.
Fans in other countries may only obtain tickets from Authorized Ticket Resellers (ATRs), appointed by their National Olympic Committee. All spectators will need to possess their spectator pass and ticket to gain access to Olympic events and venues.
Tickets for the Sochi Games will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Thanks to record number of sports disciplines and new events in Sochi’s Olympics program, the Sochi 2014 ticketing program is one of the largest in Olympic Winter Games history.
