London 2012: Nasser, Motaz return as heroes

August 15 - Ace skeet shooter Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah and high jumper Motaz Essa Barsham returned to Doha to a heroes’ welcome on Monday night.
Several high-ranking officials from the Qatar Olympic Committee, national sports federation officials and well-wishers welcomed them at the Doha International Airport.
“I’m really proud to have finally won an Olympic medal for Qatar. It’s an unforgettable achievement and I dedicate it to the country’s higher authorities,” said Nasser, upon arrival.
“Winning the medal at my first Olympics is a dream achievement. I promise to work harder to improve my performances,” said a smiling Motaz.
