Doha: London 2012 Olympics Through Media at Katara!

July 2 - To commemorate the 30th Olympic Games set to start in London, the Qatar Museums Authority (QMA) will organise the ‘Olympics Through Media’ exhibition at the QMA Gallery (building No.10, in Katara), from July 4 to September 9.

Important historical artefacts and visual materials sourced from the Qatar Olympics and Sports Museum, and QMA’s media collection will be displayed.

Commenting on its importance, QMA CEO Mansoor Al Khater said, “It’s the first time an exhibition is organised by the QMA’s several museum departments. I invite all community members to visit it.”

An extensive educational programme, organised with the aim of engaging visitors from all age groups, will complement the exhibition. Educational activities will include a children’s lounge and video games competition.

Admission to the exhibition and educational activities are free.
