Former FIFA boss Joao Havelange transferred out of ICU

TAMPA: The former head of FIFA is set to be moved out of the intensive care unit at Samaritano Hospital in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Havelange has been in the hospital for an infection in his right ankle and the Associated Press reports that  the hospital said in a statement that he would be transferred to a semi-intensive unit today.

The 95 year old has been in the hospital for almost two weeks.
