Japan hosts Asian Water Polo Championships 2012

TAMPA: The Asian Water Polo Championships 2012 have been taking place between January 24 to 27 at the Chiba International General Swimming Center near Tokyo, Japan.
Men's teams from Japan, China, Kazakhstan and Kuwait had been competing as well as women's teams from Japan, China and Kazakhstan.
In the past six months Japan has hosted the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2011, the FIVB Volleyball World Cup Japan 2011, the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships Tokyo 2011 and the 2011 ITU World Championship Series Yokohama.
