Sochi 2014 chief Chernyshenko takes up the YOG Torch

TAMPA: Sochi 2014 winter Games head Dmitry Chernyshenko got caught up in the excitement for the first winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) by taking up a leg of the Torch Relay.
The Russian delegation, led by the Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, arrived in Innsbruck to attend the YOG to learn about the organization and also to support the Russian team.
Chernyshenko said, “The Winter Youth Olympic Games has been amazingly inspiring and there has been a great atmosphere and spirit of celebration everywhere!
"It’s a privilege to have been the torchbearer and to be supported by so many Olympic fans.
"We look forward to using the Innsbruck experience as part of our preparations to the stage the most innovative Games in Olympic history.”
The next time the Olympic Family unites for the winter Games will be in host country Russia in two years time.
