TAMPA: The Pan American Games Guadalajara 2011 Organizing Committee (COPAG) and the Pan American University Guadalajara Campus (UP) has formed a partnership to produce audiovisual material for the Games.

Carlos Andrade Garin, COPAG General Director,“We are very happy to sign this convention with the Pan American University because many years ago, maybe 10 or 15 years, we came here to talk about this project.

"In 1995 this was one of the first universities who we began talking to, that opened doors for our project of the Pan American Games, as a project of more than 15 days of competitions. Now, the importance of the Games is being understood.”

The university will help to diffuse the imagery of the sports events through audiovisual material and specifically informative capsules made by the students that will be part of the Pan American Cultural Pavilion.

This will enhance the work contributed by other universities that have joined as collaborators, in addition to business partners, communications media, and various authorities, for Guadalajara 2011 preparations.

The Pan American Games will take place October 14-30 in Guadalajara, Mexico.
