Rio 2016 chief Carlos Arthur Nuzman hospitalized for heart abnormality

TAMPA/RIO, Jun 15: Reports in the Brazilian press state that IOC member and head of the Rio 2016 organizing committee, Carlos Arthur Nuzman, has been hospitalized with an abnormal heartbeat.

Nuzman went in for a routine physical exam and wound up being checked into the hospital after the heart rhythm resulted abnormal.

Further more detailed exams showed that his heartbeat had returned to normal and he was expected to be released from the intensive care unit on Thursday and allowed to leave the hospital on Friday.
