We both are passionate supporters of PyeongChang’s bid and we want to tell people all over Europe that they will have an amazing experience at a Winter Games in PyeongChang – it’s a beautiful place to visit and enjoy!”
The tour will last May 5th to August 22nd and they will support the Korean mountain city through the vote and beyond.
The couple have decorated their cycles with flags and stickers and are excited to tell all the folks they meet along the way how much they are behind the bid.
Ceo of the PyeongChang bid, Yang Ho Cho said, “I want to wish Kim and Eric the very best of luck on their cycle tour of Europe. If PyeongChang has the honour of hosting the Winter Games in 2018, Korean people would be delighted to welcome people from around the world to enjoy the city and the sporting festival.
“This amazing public support from people in so many nations provides great encouragement as our campaign heads to the 2018 Host City decision in July.”
On July 6th the IOC assembly in Durban, South Africa will vote the host city for the 2018 Winter Games. Munich and Annecy are in the race with PyeongChang with just 62 days left to go in the campaign.
