LAUSANNE, June 22: The International Olympic Committee executive board led by president Jacques Rogge gets down to business for two days of meetings at the IOC headquarters in Lausanne.

Top topic on the agenda is the fate of the three bid cities Annecy, Munich, and PyeongChang and if they will be put for ward as candidate cities. As there are only three cities in the running it is highly likely that they will all three be pushed forward to candidate city phase.

The board will listen to reports by President Rogge, from the director General Urs Lacotte, the Olympic Museum, information management and Olympic broadcasting services.

A number of key commissions will be giving updates on finance, legal issues, marketing, TV rights and the NOCS and Olympic Solidarity.

This afternoon the group will hear the progress reports from the various coordination commissions on Sochi 2014, the upcoming Youth Olympic Games, London 2012, and Rio de Janeiro 2016.

Interesting to note there will also be reports given covering betting in sport, both the summer and winter international sports federations and on the athletes.

This evening the association of the national Olympic committees will host the opening of the new ANOC headquarters here in Lausanne.

Ron Froehlich, head of the International World Games Association, will receive the Olympic order of merit. Froehlich was recently unanimously re-elected another four-year tenure and has been in office since 1992.

The IOC commission on women and sport led by Anita DeFrantz will be holding all day meetings at the same time at the headquarters. The 2010 Women and Sport trophies will be given out tomorrow at the Olympic Day ceremonies.

Tomorrow the agenda will find the board discussing the 13th Olympic congress that was held last October in Copenhagen and administrative reports on international cooperation and development.
