B2G SPORTS TO HOLD CONTEST FOR HOPEFUL COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYERS

“Dominate the Field, Dominate Your Future,” features the chance to win one of 6 Spring Showcase slots featuring football scouts from major D1 schools.

B2GSports, a premier Athlete Development Company recognized by CBS Sports Central, Fox Sports, and top recruiting publications Scout.com and Rivals.com, announces its latest Facebook contest, “Dominate the Field. Dominate Your Future,” featuring the chance win one of 6 Spring Showcase slots featuring football scouts from major D1 schools.

One of the underclassmen winners will be chosen by the coaches to attend the all-expenses paid B2G Elite Camp, designed to elevate the exclusive talent of tomorrow's college stars. This camp features the country's most talented college prospects for three days and nights of competition and expert instruction.

“Over 85 athletes that participated in the Showcase over the last two years received a D1 scholarship,” said Henry Bell,” co-founder with Ron Allen.  Allen and Bell are alumni of the University of California, Los Angeles and Purdue University, respectively. 

The contest, held through on B2G’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/B2GSports, asks players ages 10-18 or their parent or guardian to submit a highlight photo and description showing their most dominant play on the field in any position. Fans are asked to vote for their favorite. 3 youth and 3 underclass winners will be awarded a spot at an Underclassman Showcase, which includes apparel by Adidas, valued at over $300. The 6 finalists will be determined by public vote.

Standouts at every position at the Showcases, to be held April 28-29 in Los Angeles, May 5-6 in Northern California and May 12-13 in San Diego, can earn an early invitation to two prestigious events. The B2G Elite Camp will be held from June 28 - July 1 at UCLA and the PrepStar Classic Games All Star Game will be held in December, 2012. 

The Facebook contest is the latest community outreach program for B2GSports, which currently has 269 alumni on BCS roster.  The number of High School All American Alumni to come through the B2G program stands at 83, which is the most in the nation by a football training organization.
